Starting therapy? It’s a big step—and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. I get it. My goal is to make therapy approachable, human, and even a little refreshing.
Therapy with me is about connection. It’s about having a real conversation in a space where you can be yourself—whether we’re tackling life’s big challenges or navigating everyday stresses. No formal clinical jargon, no intimidating processes—just a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where we work together.
What’s my approach?
It is simple, I am down-to-earth and collaborative.
You are the expert on your life, and I am here to help guide the process, offering tools and insights tailored to your life. Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time—sometimes, it can even feel empowering and (dare I say?) a little fun.
Whether you’re in Edmonton or anywhere in Alberta (virtually), I’m here to listen without judgment and help you work toward your goals. Real support for real life.
Let’s talk. Let’s grow. Together.

What Drives Me
I believe that mental wellness is something everyone deserves to prioritize and I’m passionate about normalizing therapy. It’s not about what’s wrong with you for seeking help; it’s about what’s right.
My ultimate goal is to create a space where my clients feel safe and heard. We all go through tough times. Sometimes, you just need someone to help you navigate those moments - that’s where I come in. If you have or are experiencing trauma, grief, loss, relationship struggles, or just the ups and downs of life, I’m here to provide the support, tools, and techniques to help you get through it.
I have always been the go-to person for a good heart-to-heart, who always got in trouble for chatting in class.
My first experience with a psychologist back in high school was a game-changer, finally a space where I could let it all out. I did not think that was possible. I could share what was on my mind, have someone validate what I was going through, and help me figure out the next steps. Unfortunately, along the way, I’ve also had some not-so-great experiences with psychologists, the kind I would not wish on anyone. My own experiences in and out of therapy set the stage for what would become my career, helping others navigate life’s twists and turns. Who knew that my knack for chatting and being a good listener would turn into a career?
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, from kids to older adults, across Alberta. My training includes trauma-informed therapy (EMDR), couples therapy (Gottman and EFCT), and grief recovery (Grief Recovery Method®). I’m also proud to mentor up-and-coming psychologists through clinical supervision, helping shape the future of the profession.
My Journey in Mental Health
My Approach to Therapy
Casual, but Effective
Therapy with me feels relaxed and conversational—I create a space where you can be yourself. Whether we’re using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), every session is designed to achieve meaningful progress.
Collaborative and Flexible
You know yourself best, and my job is to work with you to figure out what you need. We’ll collaborate on finding solutions, and I’ll adapt my approach based on your style. Whether you need to vent, get some advice, or learn new coping strategies, I’m here for all of it.
Humor Meets Professionalism
Let’s be honest—therapy can be heavy, but that doesn’t mean it has to be all serious. I believe humour is a powerful tool in the healing process, and I use it to help my clients feel more comfortable. That said, my priority is always your well-being, and I’ll guide you with professionalism and care at every step.
Why Clients Choose Me
What clients appreciate most about working with me is my ability to make therapy feel relatable and non-judgmental. I create a space where you can be honest, even about the tough stuff, and feel like you’re chatting with a friend. I bring a wealth of knowledge and tenacity to each session, but more importantly, I bring a human touch to every interaction.
Here’s why clients trust me:
-
I’m adaptive—I change my style to fit your needs.
-
I make therapy a collaborative experience—you’re not alone in this process.
-
I blend professionalism with personality—therapy with me is both effective and approachable.
My clients often tell me they leave feeling lighter, more hopeful, and with practical tools to navigate their challenges. Plus, I don’t just focus on the mental health side—I’m also a strong advocate for integrating physical, emotional, and relational wellness into the therapy process.

GIVING BACK
Disaster Relief Network
I am dedicated to giving back to the community. Since 2020, I’ve been volunteering with the Disaster Relief Network, offering psychological support to individuals and communities impacted by natural disasters and crises. Volunteering allows me to extend my expertise beyond my practice to support those facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
