Hi!
I'm Alisha.
I am a Registered Psychologist based in Edmonton, dedicated to helping individuals of all ages across Alberta foster growth and positive change in their lives. With over a decade of experience working in a variety of settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support each person with their unique life goals.
My approach is relationship-based, which are the building blocks of healing. I bring authenticity, warmth, honesty, and humour into our sessions. I come from a genuine place of curiosity, being collaborative, seeking feedback, and bringing action-oriented skills and tools to enhance our experience together.
Whether you're experiencing grief, loss, trauma (complex or intergenerational), anxiety, depression, or navigating challenging relationships – or simply trying to find your way in life – I'm here to offer support with empathy and understanding.
As an NIHB and Bigstone provider, I have a special focus on supporting Indigenous populations both within their communities and beyond. I am committed to offering culturally sensitive and respectful care.
Together, we’ll engage in open, non-judgmental conversations, offering compassion and a touch of lightness along the way.
I also have a special interest in working with couples of all genders informed by the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy at all stages in their relationship. I also offer unique Marriage Preparation.
My latest passion is preparing the next generation of psychologists entering the field and providing ethical and encouraging clinical supervision to Registered Provisional Psychologists.
